This qualification will provide an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in primary, secondary or special schools. It includes learning about children and young people’s development, safeguarding their welfare and communication.
The Award is suitable for those not yet working in a Level 3 school role but would like to start their career as a Teaching Assistant.
The qualification will be assessed by your Tutor through a portfolio of assignments for each unit. This is an intensive five-week course and you will have another 4 weeks to complete your coursework at home before submitting it on the deadline date.
