Course Description
This 6 week, part-time course, based in Enfield, North London is intended for those who are interested in supporting learning in schools or further education establishments. This qualification will provide a good standard in supporting children, teenagers, students and adults in a range of settings such as schools, further education colleges, adult and community providers and work-based learning contexts, voluntary, community, public and private organisations. The course will be held at Woodbar House Campus.

Written tasks will include writing reports and summaries.
What standards do I need in order to join the Teacher Assistant course?
You must:
Be able to read and communicate clearly and accurately enough to meet the requirements of the training,
NOT have a criminal record which might prevent you from working with children/young people or vulnerable adults.
You will also need:
ICT skills (or be willing to develop them).
